Aparna Athreya is a storyteller and trainer in organizational storytelling. In 1996, she started her career as a techie and continued for 15 years, she had the opportunity to serve at organizations such as IBM, Infosys and Cognizant technologies. Over those years, she witnessed the successes, challenges and workings of the corporate world. In 2011, when she moved on to become a compulsive storyteller it was a natural step forward to use storytelling approaches in organizational development. Story Triangle® was founded with the purpose of breathing life to the workplace; at a cognitive, emotional and a social level. This includes helping organizations in the art of listening, identifying, crafting and telling stories to make a difference. She is a TEDx speaker on storytelling and multiple intelligence. She is also a nominated Trust member of Canara Bank Financial Advisory Trust where she works actively to promote financial literacy using the art of storytelling. She has been featured in YourStory as a leading entrepreneur and Super Woman in Radio One. She has been awarded “Women of the year” from Canara Bank in 2016. Her organization has been covered in newspaper dailies such as Times of India, Deccan Herald, Times of India and Bangalore Mirror. She has presented at conferences across the country about business, education and storytelling.
